Faïssal Fdil has had a ten years career in senior race strategy positions in Formula 1 and Formula E, making live race strategy calls, developing prediction models and leading strategy groups. With experience at Haas F1 Team, Sauber F1 Team and NIO Formula E, he also shares his expertise as a visiting lecturer in Race Strategy at ESTACA.

Tom graduated from Cranfield University with a Master’s Degree in Advanced Motorsport Mechatronics. He then went to Mahindra Formula E Team as a Energy Management Controls Engineer. In 2024, Tom moved to Envision Racing Formula E Team where he is now responsible for Strategy Simulation.
